ZamaPara Kick Start Fundraiser Event begins at Carrollton Station June 30th

New Orleans indie band ZamaPara announced today their Kick Start Fundraiser Shows are getting cranked up starting June 30th at 10 PM. ZamaPara, the 5 piece indie rock band known for their unique songwriting, will be playing Carrollton Station to support the group’s efforts in raising funds to help with the completion of their first full length album “Peace of Mind”. Expected release date is late August. They are recording and mixing their new music release at Fudge Studio with ace engineer Jacques DeLatour. Insiders say DeLatour’s talents have helped push ZamaPara’s music to a new level with his talented engineering and production of their entire album. The group specializes in artfully crafted intimate songwriting which is blended in with their musical influences like: Wilco, Bob Marley, Counting Crows, The Police, Paul Simon, Jack Johnson and Joe Strummer to name a few. The end result is an innovative style of straight forward heartfelt melodies that are steeped in Americana with a strong dose of reggae/ska influences along with a New Orleans flavor. This combination makes ZamaPara’s unique style flow with positive vibes and body movement to hypnotic rhythms and melodies. So get out and support local live music with ZamaPara and have some fun! Doors open at 9pm and band starts at 10pm.
