Reno Our City Radio announces new owner Mark Ivey

Reno Our City Radio came to the Reno area in mid June with the mission of getting involved with the indie scene and helping local artists get the exposure they deserve. Reno is a community that thrives on entertainment and indie artists of all genres call Reno home. Reno Our City Radio is an affiliate of National Our City Radio, a nationwide network of locally focused stations catering to the indie artist by offering free uploads so local fans have a place to hear their favorites bands, artists, and comics, while also offering some national exposure for those artist as well. As a forum for local artists, Reno Our City Radio will also be found in the community, lending support to local causes, organizations, and non-profits. Introducing Mark Ivey – Owner/Managing Partner – Reno / Las Vegas Our City Radio.

Mark Ivey, long time Reno resident and seasoned small business developer, has become the owner/managing partner of Reno Our City Radio. Mark is uniquely qualified to head the Reno and Las Vegas Our City Radio operations. Marks ability to help local and small businesses capture and leverage the power of new media marketing and branding media makes this a perfect match for both Mark and Our City Radio. Mark also brings a passion for music and artists, being an accomplished guitarist in his own right. This love for music and the local artists of Nevada afford Mark with some long established relationships in today’s Nevada Indie community. Mark will no doubt be out in the community building new relationships and introducing Reno, LasVegas, and all of Nevada to some of the hottest Indie acts around.
