www.otj.com OTJ Architect’s careful consideration of the spatial and stylistic concerns of Wallace, King, Domkike, & Reiskin ‘s office led for the design of a compact and comprehensive office plan ideally located on the Potomac waterfront. Through OTJ’s reduction of space standards Wallace & King were able to gain access to a building and location exemplary of their standards of quality while meeting programmatic needs. ————– Speaker I think the principal objective that we try to accomplish with Wallace and King was to A: meet their requirements for their offices. The principal office is consisted of those for the principals, the founding partners as well as their associates; of which they had a finite number so that we had to accommodate any number of windowed offices for them, as well. Overall, their main objective was to establish a signature quality space and design impact from the outset and given the nature of that building which had some idiosyncrasies given the site. I think we capitalized on all of the components that they wanted to accomplish. This building posed for them an opportunity to make it work for them in the best way possible and as a consequence, I think that the working with them hand-in-hand really enabled us to achieve most of their objectives.
