Why should a for-profit company have to manufacture products in America if it’s more expensive and less flexible? It simply doesn’t make business sense. And I’m pretty sure Apple can do just fine without you owning anything made by them, considering they’re the most valuable company in the world.

People hate him because he scammed the planet and created a following of Pro-Applelites?
I admire him, because he was able to do something that significant. He made an industry of ‘cool.’

amazes me how people in this country criticize him. Industrial world is nasty-he outsmarted everyone just to make his company successful-but according to his son Reed down in his heart he has love.

he was an american job killer. he even told the president he would never produce anything in this country because he doesn’t believe in the 40 hour work week, overtime pay, or benfits. plus the chinese are willing to work for change. so basically, he believed he was god like and we should bow to him. i’ll never own anything apple. i think god justed showed him who is in charge. fuck apple corp,
communist supporters.

@keepcalmandswag0n he was probably like that until his late 30′s. But I agree, it seemed like he did grow up a lot later in life, especially when he went back to apple in the late 90′s. I think he learned to appreciate it more.

@keepcalmandswag0n Have you read his biography? He was impossible to live or work with. He was an awesome business man and great innovator but a somewhat flawed human being, especially when he was young. Being yourself isn’t always a good thing…

Apple didn’t invent the Smartphone. Apple didn’t invent the touch screen., In fact Apple nor Steve Jobs invented NOTHING.
They mearly took OTHER peoples ideas and inventions and sold them at stupid prices
to stupid people willing to pay them for the sake of Vanity.

I agree, he was a great innovator and visionary. But a lot of the time he was mean, insulting, selfish etc. A big loss to the tech industry, nevertheless.
