Are “Meet Up” Groups Really Necessary For MLM?

Are “Meet Up” Groups Really Necessary For MLM?

We all know about the importance of relationships, and communication. It is this connectivity that enables networkers to flourish in the MLM industry, else being a networker can be a very isolating task. So we build relationships with our downline, our upline, and those working beside us in our team. I have definitely achieved this with the great team I am working with, which is moving us ALL forward as a success entity. Click Here To Find Out More About Them.

So where do Meet Up Groups fall in this equation, and can they really help your business to succeed?

Well, First of all, let’s define Meet up. This is the world’s largest network of local groups. It allows members to find like minded people and connect with them, from New Mums, to Cake Lovers, to Gardeners…and of course, MLM Network Marketers. You can organize your own group, or find one already set up in your area catering for your interest. The founders of the Meet Up network believe people can change their world, and make a difference in the community by organizing themselves into groups that are powerful enough to do so.

What a powerful mission statement, right?.

So how do networkers benefit from Meet Up Groups?

1)      BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS.

The art of network marketing today is becoming increasingly technological. And while that has its undeniable benefits, there is still a lot to be said for networking the old way: Face to Face. Meet Up groups allow you to build relationships, with others, who are also looking to build relationships with you! And because of the mutual interest already evident, it is a lot easier to accomplish. You can also share best practices, successes, failures and even tools to help you become a more successful networker.

2)      ADVERTISING.

Meet Up groups give you a fantastic opportunity to advertise your MLM business to a targeted audience. They say that the best person to have in your downline is another networker, as supposed to a non – networker, as you bypass a lot of the basic explaining, and possible labeling of a scam artist. They already “get it” and know how to hit the ground running.

3)      BETTER COMMUNICATION SKILLS.

The usual set up of a Meet Up is that there is a presentation of the sponsor of the group, a presentation or 2 of some of the MLM opportunities present, then you mingle. (Though this is by no means set in stone). You will learn to present your business opportunity in the best possible way to prospects. This is a vital skill to have as a networker, as a bad presentation WILL cost you prospects, and hence income.

4)      BEING INFORMED.

As I mentioned before, you will be among many others from many different companies. So this will give you a chance to find out about other opportunities, and companies out there, and what is currently happening with them. It is always beneficial for you to study and understand the MLM industry, and Meet Ups are one of the best ways to do that.

So we can see how Meet Up groups can really help your MLM business flourish, and help your personal development too!

But there’s more. There is a group called the ISRBD: International Society Of Relationship Business Developers. This group is available for you, no matter your business or company opportunity, to help you in setting up a Meet Up group in your area. There are groups forming in many localities and they are actively seeking Meet Up coordinators. This is a great opportunity to step up and lead in your field and your area. There is plenty of information, assistance and guidance from the founder of ISRBD. A great leader and mentor himself, Mr Jim Earl. A privilege to know him. Please contact him directly NOW for further details and to get started!

So have you joined or formed a Meet Up group yet? Please share your thoughts and experiences!

Denver, CO|Denver and Life Vessel of the Rockies presents Trevor Mickleson June 26th for special learning event

About Trevor Mickelson (the speaker)  Why Am I Doing This?

Tortoise & Hare Financial Affairs was founded completely by accident. My own personal financial crisis taught me more about money than I had ever imagined possible, and filled me with a passion for helping other people weather their own storms as gracefully and painlessly as possible.

A few years ago, my wife Julia herniated a disc in her lower back, and a week later was diagnosed with a debilitating autoimmune disease. Virtually overnight, our financial situation had changed drastically.

Like most young couples these days, we were not prepared for this. We found ourselves completely caught off guard financially and didn’t know what to do. We had been married for a few years and certainly had bouts of financial struggle, but nothing compared to this. Our small financial cushion disappeared alarmingly fast and we realized something had to change quickly or we would sink. It was clear that our financial decisions had created a lot of tension between us. We kept getting deeper and deeper into debt and we were scared. To save our marriage, we made a bold decision. We decided to make every change necessary to keep us from collapsing financially. We were nervous, but committed. I started to educate myself.  I sought out teachers and mentors to walk me through the financial lessons I had never learned in school. I absorbed as much information about personal finance as I could get my hands on. I was beyond the point of exhaustion, but I read everything I could and listened to anyone with a fresh strategy with the hope of finally getting us out of our horrendous situation. And you know what?

It worked!

And now I am here to teach you what I’ve learned.
